Janu Basti
Janu Basti is a specialized Ayurvedic therapy for knee joint pain and disorders. In this procedure, a leak-proof wall is constructed around the knee using herbal dough, and lukewarm medicated oil is retained over the knee for a specific duration. This helps nourish the joint, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility.

Nasya (Errhine Therapy)
Nasya, also known as Shirovirechana, is a specialized Ayurvedic therapy in which medicated substances are administered through the nasal passages. According to Ayurveda, “Nasa hi Shiraso Dwaram”, meaning “the nose is the gateway to the head.” Hence, Nasya therapy is highly effective in treating disorders of the region above the neck.
Nasya holds prime importance in Ayurveda as it helps cleanse, nourish, and strengthen the vital organs of the head and sensory organs (Indriyas). The medicines used in Nasya are administered in the form of medicated oils, ghee, herbal juices, or powders, depending on the condition.

Gandusha & Kavala Therapy
Gandusha and Kavala are classical Ayurvedic therapies involving medicated gargles. Both procedures are similar in purpose, with the primary difference being the quantity of medicated liquid used.
Gandusha involves holding a full quantity of medicated fluid in the mouth for a specific duration and then spitting it out. Due to the full quantity, the liquid cannot be rotated in the mouth.
Kavala involves holding a smaller quantity of medicated fluid in the mouth, which is rotated and gargled for a specific time before spitting it out.

Shirodhara (Shiro Seka / Shiro Pariseka)
Also known as Shiro Seka or Shiro Pariseka, Shirodhara involves gently pouring medicated liquids over the head in a continuous stream for a specific duration. Based on the medication used, the therapy is named accordingly.
